El proceso de la denominación involucra completando las siguientes etapas:

Las prácticas que logran todas las 10 estapas del estado de Nueva York van a estar reconocidas con un certificado de designación y las prácicas designadas van a estar en el sitio web del Departamente de Salud de Nueva York.
El certificado expira después de cinco años. En esa fecha, tendrán que hacer otro pos-evaluación y una política actualizada.

This NIH database contains information on medications and other chemicals that breastfeeding mothers may be exposed. It includes information on the levels of such substances in breast milk and infant blood, possible adverse effects in the nursing infant, and suggested therapeutic alternatives, where appropriate.
